The Red Inc The World Needs
Last night I had a dream that Kristin and I were in the Oval Office, sitting in a cabinet meeting with President Trump. There were a lot of details in the dream, but there’s one moment that stands out.
President Trump looked at me and said, “Landon, my printer has run out of red ink. Can you go get me another cartridge?”
Without hesitation, I knew exactly where to go. There was another printer in a kitchen room next door. I went, grabbed the red ink, and brought it back.
When I woke up and began sharing the dream with Kristin, I started praying into it. The red ink could represent several things, but one meaning rose strongly in my spirit.
The red ink represents the words of Jesus.
In many Bibles, the words of Jesus are written in red. They carry life, authority, truth, and power. They reveal the heart of God and the way we are meant to live.
What stood out to me was not just the ink itself, but the fact that it had run out.
It felt significant.
It pointed to a need, not just in leadership, but in our nation, for something that only Jesus can provide. Wisdom, direction, truth, and authority that doesn’t come from man, but from God.
The verse came to mind:
Psalm 127:1 “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.”
No matter how strong or capable someone is, we all need the leadership of Jesus.
And this is what stirred me the most.
I wasn’t the one writing anything. I wasn’t the one leading the meeting. But I was the one asked to go and get what was missing.
And I knew where to find it.
As believers, we carry access to something the world desperately needs. We have His Word. We have His blood. We have His presence.
Even the most powerful people in the world cannot substitute what only Jesus provides.
I believe this dream is an invitation.
An invitation to pray. To declare the words of Jesus over our president, over our government, over our nation, and over our families.
Because when His words are declared, things begin to shift.
